SPRINGFIELD — Prospective students interested in starting or restarting college or training for a new career are invited to visit Lincoln Land Community College for a campus visit day on Monday, Oct. 12, 9 a.m. to noon. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. The free event will be held at LLCC’s Springfield campus, 5250 Shepherd Rd.
“Choosing a college is an important decision and Campus Visit Day is an opportunity to discover all that LLCC has to offer,” says LLCC President Curt Oldfield, Ed.D. “Whether you’re interested in earning a transfer degree, preparing for a rewarding workforce or healthcare career or building new skills, you’ll find a supportive environment, outstanding faculty and a high-quality, affordable education here at LLCC.”
The campus visit day schedule will allow guests to personalize their experience by choosing breakout sessions and tours that are most impactful to them. Breakout sessions include healthcare pathways, workforce career programs, financial aid, transitioning to college and tours of LLCC’s Workforce Careers Center, health professions labs, general education classrooms and the Kreher Agriculture Center. Prospective students can also hear from a student panel, view exhibits, apply for admission and explore LLCC’s programs. Refreshments will be provided.
Registration is encouraged at www.llcc.edu/campus-visit-day, and walk-ins are welcome. If prospective students are unable to attend and would like a tour on another day, call 217-786-2292 or visit www.llcc.edu/visit-llcc.
