LLCC 2008 Honored Alumni

In celebration of the college's 40th anniversary, this year's ceremony will feature two LLCC outstanding alumni as honorees: LLCC alumna Renee Romano, Ph.D. and alumnus John Kulek. Romano graduated from LLCC with high honors in the class of 1975. She received her bachelor's and master's degrees from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and a Ph.D. in higher education from Iowa State University. Romano currently serves as vice chancellor of student affairs at the University of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign. Kulek graduated with honors in the class of 1998 with an associate in applied science degree in fire science technology and currently serves as fire chief for the Springfield Fire Department.
