LLCC offers a variety of summer camps for first grade students through recent high school graduates. We offer camps in Springfield, Beardstown, Jacksonville, Litchfield and Taylorville.
Career Quest Camps
Build & Wire Skills Camp
- June 1-18 (Monday-Thursday)
- 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- High school juniors and seniors or recent graduates (limited to 12 students)
- LLCC-Taylorville, 800 S. Spresser St., Taylorville
- Cost: Free
Jump into the world of skilled trades with this hands-on construction and electrical camp. Students gain real experience using professional tools, learning basic wiring and completing woodworking projects, including building their own furniture piece. Must wear closed-toed shoes and long pants for safety.
