SPRINGFIELD — Prospective students interested in starting or restarting college or training for a new career are invited to visit Lincoln Land Community College for an open house on Tuesday, June 20, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The free event will be held at LLCC’s Springfield campus, 5250 Shepherd Rd., and at Outreach Centers in Jacksonville (32 N. Central Park Plaza), Litchfield (1 Lincoln Land Dr.) and Taylorville (800 S. Spresser).

“Whether you are in high school or wanting to upskill or start a new career, we invite you to find your path at our open house. You can explore majors and our personalized services that help students experience college success,” says LLCC President Charlotte Warren, Ph.D.

Visitors can check in at the event information tent and then follow footprints to various areas on campus where they can speak with faculty and staff, view exhibits, take tours, learn about how to enroll and pay for college, and apply for admission. The event will also feature an outdoor cookout, DJ and student life activities.

Registration for the LLCC Open House is encouraged and available at www.llcc.edu/open-house or by calling 217-786-2577.
