LLCC to host Campus Cruise Oct. 28 for prospective students

Prospective students are invited to participate in the Campus Cruise Oct. 28, 3:30-6 p.m. at Lincoln Land Community College’s Springfield campus to learn more about the college’s programs, services and facilities.

Participants can take a tour of campus from their cars, accessing videos on their smart phones at various stops along the way. At one of the stops, participants will receive a packet of information, college swag and treats prepared by LLCC Hospitality and Culinary Arts.  Prospective students who also complete an information request form at www.llcc.edu/forward will get a free T-shirt that they can pick up at the cruise.

As a part of October Moving Forward to LLCC events, the college is also hosting virtual information sessions for various majors, including short-term training programs at LLCC’s Capital City Training Center on Oct. 26, 5:30 p.m. and culinary and hospitality programs on Oct. 29, 5:30 p.m.

Other October Moving Forward to LLCC opportunities include attending virtual Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) events, taking a virtual tour or signing up for an in-person tour, booking a virtual or in-person meeting for assistance with admission, financial aid, accessibility services and more.
