SPRINGFIELD — Lincoln Land Community College recognized students with academic, leadership and special awards at the Student Recognition Ceremony April 26. 

The top award of 2022 Outstanding Graduate was presented to Megan Jamison of Taylorville.

The award recognizes a graduate’s excellent grade point average, leadership, motivation, service to the college community, extracurricular activities and ability to overcome obstacles. Jamison will graduate in May with an associate in applied science degree in radiography. She has been active in Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and was recognized as the 2022 New Century Workforce Scholar in Illinois by the Coca Cola Foundation and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
