It’s time to get back to school, and we’re ready!

If you or someone you know needs a nudge, here it is. It’s time to get back to school.

No matter where you are in your educational journey … just graduated from high school, needing to start a new career or start over on a college degree … Lincoln Land Community College is open and ready.

We have full services to support you in person on our main campus and at all outreach facilities, or give us a call. We’re flexible to suit your needs and get you ready to start college.

Most of our classes this fall are offered face-to-face in the classroom, days and evenings, along with an expanded array of online and hybrid learning options. We have multiple start times, from traditional semester-long classes beginning Aug. 21, to 12- and eight-week classes that begin in September and October.

This week, we’re hosting Rapid Enrollment Days where you can get personalized assistance no matter where you are in the process. If you’ve applied but not taken the next step, you can complete those steps and register for classes. If you’re just starting to think about college and what field you might pursue, we’ll have displays to peruse and faculty eager to discuss and answer questions. Take a tour, get some swag and enjoy a free Quiznos meal!

Interested in a hands-on career? You’re invited to a Workforce 101 event this week where you’ll roll up your sleeves and try out a trade. Choose from construction, automotive technology, welding, culinary arts and hospitality, and aviation mechanics. These are career fields with good jobs available in our local communities and beyond. Employers will be on hand to discuss careers in their industries.

What’s most important is that you continue to look forward. Don’t let another year go by without taking steps toward your future. Whether you take one course or enroll full-time, you will be achieving, learning and moving toward your goals. We’re here as a team to help you start or restart college or career training. It’s time to picture yourself as an LLCC student.

We hope to see you at one of our Rapid Enrollment Days or Workforce 101 events, but most of all, we want to see you as a student at LLCC this fall. Take that first step toward a life-changing education.
